MOUNTING TIPS & LINKS!

I sell the cushion, but you'll have to decide on what mounting system works best for you! I use HALOS myself, but lots of folks really like the feel of a wood mount, and plenty of people are using cling vinyl and repositionable glue with acrylic mount systems, so here are links for those too!! Thanks to everyone who answered my plea for information and links for the acrylic blocks and cling vinyl, I've learned a LOT visiting your favorite sites!

Click below to go to the HALOS site:

(These are acrylic mounts, I use these myself and love 'em!)

Click here to visit the HALOS tutorial and learn about this awesome mounting system! There you'll also find their price list, and Sheryl Porter's email address. She's the creator of the HALOS system, so who better to ask??

Vickie Enkoff also sells the new HALOS II system:

And if you prefer WOOD mounts, go here:

Soc's Blocks

http://www.socsblocks.homestead.com/

Click here to email Kim about mounting!

CHECK IT OUT!! Kim at Soc's Blocks will MOUNT YOUR STAMPS FOR YOU!! Email her to ask prices, what an awesome service!! (Pssst...she mounts stuff for Tim Holtz, how's that for a reference?)

You'll need a great pair of scissors, too:

(The ones I love are on the left, the Blesseds!)

*** TIP: When attaching your rubber to the cushion, use rubber cement, and apply it to both the rubber AND the cushion, let them both dry, and then stick the die on the cushion. You'll get a nice tight bond this way! Same goes for applying the cushion to wood, put rubber cement on both the cushion and the wood, then stick them together! (And don't buy the expensive rubber cement, the cheapest stuff will do just fine!)***

NEW LINKS

Below are quite a few links for companies that sell cling vinyl and acrylic mounts. I have now had the good fortune to have the EZMounts in my hot little hands and I have to tell you, these are FANTASTIC! The foam comes with the cling vinyl and sticky already on it, it couldn't be easier! And I'd like to thank the Sunday International folks for supplying me with a starter kit to try! I got these only yesterday from them, and I'm completely sold!

One of the most-mentioned companies was Sunday International. They sell the EZ Mount system, which is acrylic blocks and cling vinyl with cushion. You can click the two links below to check them out:

Blockhead Stamps carries the EZ Mount system as well:

Here are a few new links to folks who carry the EZ Mounts, you might want to shop around. All are reputable vendors and I feel very confident recommending them!

Some other useful information I learned and will share: Apparently you can buy rolls of cling vinyl (I don't know what brands) at JoAnn's Fabrics and Crafts and at Dick Blick. I wasn't given a link for JoAnn's, but here is a link for the Dick Blick stuff:

ETC...ETC...ETC...

Also, a lot of people mentioned a repositionable glue called Aleene's Tack It Over And Over, which you can apparently buy at crafts stores like Michael's and Hobby Lobby. You use this with any acrylic mount.

And finally, seems a lot of people really like using double stick poster tape made by 3M with their acrylic mounts. They say it's cost effective and lasts a long time before it needs to be peeled off and replaced.

I hope this new information I've gathered will be helpful! It by no means lists everything available, you'll probably find lots of other things along the way! And if you do stumble upon something you think I should know about, please let me know about it!!

TA-DAAAA!!
